Simply putting, we were (actually, we still are) busy reading your feedbacks and try to incorporate them, getting you more restaurants, getting you more efficient, more faster and more user friendly (or should we say error free) service which we guys think would change the way you order food.

ok ok… Let us clarify in detail what you guys can expect as an outcome of our so long effort.

IF MICROSOFT, Google and Yahoo! are just some examples worldwide which metamorphosed from college projects to successful businesses, fresh engineering graduates from state colleges too are coming up with futuristic projects. Be it a touch screen chess game made on a cost-effective LCD technology, a portal that can provide users search facility for nearby restaurants and to order food online, or a tool that can convert gestures into spoken form. These passouts are trying whatever they can to differentiate themselves from the products already available in the market.

Four young engineering grads of Nirma University have started their own company Digicorp Information Systems. The company has come up with a new website called petpooja.com . Once operational, the website will inform users about the nearby restaurants and provide the facility of ordering food online. The company has started tying up with the restaurants to provide the menu, rates and phone numbers of the restaurants online.

It will also launch a helpline number to various restaurants across the city and thus will save the exercise to hunt for a restaurant’s number. What’s more, you will also be able to read comments from users on various restaurants for an informed decision. The website will also have a collection of user submitted recipes and experiences along with health and cooking tips.

“The city has large number of restaurants and our website will be very helpful to find nearest restaurants and place order online. Ours will be the first of its kind service in the city,” says Abhishek Desai, one of the four directors of DigiCorp. Later, it will also have the information about caterers and dabbawalas in Ahmedabad.

DigiCorp has already been in talks with city-based restaurants such as Naryani Floor 7, Sauce & Pan and others to put their menus on the website.

Welcome to PetPooja once again. Let us understand PetPooja better.

It is basically a city based service (for now it is Ahmedabad) that gives you access to all the food-related resources in a particular city.

Firstly it helps you order online or through PetPooja helpline number to various restaurants across the city and hence saves you the burden of finding a restaurant’s number, facing its busy tone and placing a random order.

At PetPooja you shall be able to read comments from users on various restaurants and hence your decision will be an informed one.

Moreover PetPooja shall house a collection of user submitted recipes and expriences along with Health Tips and Kitchen Tips.

And of course you can impress your sweetheart by knowing the exact directions to the restaurant (by looking up PetPooja maps in advance) and by taking her to the best restaurant (by using Suggest a restaurant service).

PetPooja shall start its operations with Ahmedabad- a city famed for food lovers and restaurants.
PetPooja will be compelted in three steps

1. A pre-beta launch (almost completed)
2. A beta Launch for testing purpose and for internal users.
3. A Mega Launch
The beta launch is slated for late July and the Mega Launch for second week of August.
